Recently, I went to Windsor, Canada. It has been quite some time since my last visit. The downtown area was pretty dead during the day time. I noticed larger crowds at night.
Canada is known for Poutine. Poutine is a Canadian dish that consists of gravy and cheese curds. I heard really great things about Frenchy’s. This was my first and I was not disappointed. I got the smallest size and it was enough for two people.
I decided to challenge myself and walk from Downtown Windsor to Devonshire Mall! I did it! As I was walking, I enjoyed seeing more of Windsor. I stumbled across Jackson Park along the way. It was so beautiful! The walk one way took about an hour and thirty minutes. I planned on eating a lot so I did not mind burning calories (lol).
I finally got to Devonshire and did a bit of shopping. Note that the mall closes at 6:00 pm on weekends. I would say one day is a good amount of time in Windsor.
I did a lot of walking, and it was not much to do. I have traveled across Canada and Windsor was my least favorite city I’ve visited in Canada. It seemed a bit desolate.
Till next time, Windsor!
