My name is Angela (also known as TravelChoseMe). In 2013, My friend invited me on a trip to Miami that would change my life forever. After leaving Miami, I flew to Denver, and the rest is history. Travel is not only my passion but it is my LIFE. Growing up, I never knew what I wanted to do. I got a full-time job once and only lasted 89 days before deciding that it simply wasn’t for me. I remember going on one-day trips on my off days just to try to live life to the “fullest” and feel like I was accomplishing something. I knew I did not want to live the “norm” and I was ok with that. My friends thought I was absolutely nomadic when I told them these stories and I grew to love it. My close friend kept insisting that I create a travel blog and that is exactly what I did in 2017. Once I began traveling, I finally found the piece of my life that was missing. I am forever grateful for my friends and family who support my ongoing journey. It means the world to me. I hope my blog helps you discover new journeys, destinations, or trip ideas <3
Growing up, I never knew what I wanted to do. Year after year, I would change majors. Once I started traveling, I realized travel was my passion. I was ok with not going to college. I knew I was different when all of my peers would look at me strangely because I did not want to work a 9-5 schedule. I did one time in my life and quit before the 90 day period. I created this blog to inspire my readers that you can travel! Regardless of your age or work schedule. You can do IT! It is OK to not fit in and be called “nomadic” by your family and peers.
Over the years, I have met strangers that would end up being some of my closest friends, gone on solo trips out of the country, and overcame a lot of my fears. Since 2013, I have traveled to over twenty states and five different countries. Lord’s willing, It will be many more. So far, Dubai has my heart. I created this blog so because can get inspiration and travel! Also, I wanted to show how you can travel on a budget. Every week, I post my stories and advice on how you can travel on a budget! Trust me, it is possible! I am hoping to cover as much of the globe as I possibly can.
