I just got back from Jamaica and had a great time visiting Negril for 24 hours! I went back in November briefly to go to Ricks Cafe. This time, I was able to walk down seven mile beach, swim, and grab a nice refreshing beverage.
Safety
I felt safe the entire time In Negril.
Food
I grabbed some from pon d road. You cannot go wrong with any food in Jamaica! They accept Cash (USD and JMD) as well as cash app for some places. You can simply walk up to a resort and also order food as you walk down the beach!
Overall?
I say BOOK THE TRIP SOLO! I promise. You won’t regret it.
