New York City is always a great time. I was visiting for the weekend and decided to stay on a quieter part of the city. Mondrian Park NYC location is great. A short walk and you are at Times Square. If you continue walking further, you will be in the Upper East Side.
I arrived around 6:00 pm and I had no issues checking in. Check-out is at noon.
I stayed in the Superior Room. The room looked really nice! I really liked how the closet had built in shelfs for your shoes. It makes staying organized easier.
The hotel does provide a breakfast voucher to use at Blank Slate. The voucher value was $20 per day. It was enough for me as I was alone. A $20 voucher will not cover two people.
Granola and yogurt $12 and Latte $6
Vegan Banana Bread $12 Orange Juice $5
The food and beverages were great.
However, I only knew about this from the reviews online. When checking in, the front desk did not mention it.
The hotel is rated a 5 star hotel but I disagree. I would rate this hotel 3.7 stars. No free water. Bottled water for $8 at the hotel. I have stayed at three star hotels that did not charge for bottled water.
Would I stay here again? No. For the price, I can definitely stay some where else that is more updated. The location was the best part of this hotel. For a full tour of the room, check out my YouTube channel.
