Atlantic City is a city full of charm. Known for its casinos, Atlantic City is also a great place if you are looking for a quick getaway and you reside on the East Coast. I was looking for a nice staycation and decided to visit Atlantic City. When you think of Atlantic City, typically casinos come to mind. But there is so much stuff to do in Atlantic City! I stayed at the Borgota (My FAV). Oceans is a new resort but was completely booked.

Most hotels do charge for parking but some validate your parking or areas that do have free/discounted parking. Borgota’s self-parking was $5.
Last-minute, I decided to stay another night and Borgota was sold out. So, I went to my next choice which was, Harrah’s Atlantic City. I have stayed at Harrah’s in Las Vegas and had a good experience so I was not worried!
Check-in took a very long time but no big deal. Checked in at a mobile kiosk. The room was very clean (despite the dated carpet). The hotel itself is in really great condition! Very nice dining options! Parking was free (I am not sure if it was because I spent a night).
My favorite place to visit was the Boardwalk! I love walking because I always see places Have not seen before! I did eventually go on the beach and I must say, it looked pretty clean! I did see some people get in the water but I did not. The beach was quite packed.
Aside from the casinos, Atlantic City has a nice outlet mall located a few minutes away from the boardwalk! I had no clue that it was an outlet mall around, I walked and stumbled across it. Atlantic City is beautiful but you will see homeless people, which is pretty normal everywhere (unfortunately). I never felt unsafe, just don’t leave any valuables in your car and always watch your surroundings. That is typical advice I will give anywhere I go.
