Hey yall, I know it’s been a longggg time since I last posted! Recently, I visited New York City and I wanted to discuss my visit there. I went for a weekend with a friend. Despite a few dine-in restrictions, New York City is open! Of course, you have social distance and wear our most loved accessory, a mask! Dine-in places have a maximum capacity, which was not a big deal for my friend and me. Some restaurants are strictly carried out. My friend and I would either eat outside near Times Square or simply take it to our hotel. We made the best out of our trip and If you have never been to New York City, I would recommend you visit! You can take advantage of the inexpensive hotels and still do a few touristy things.
I will not say it feels the same as it did pre COVID; however, we all have to adjust and make the best out of the current times we are in! Broadway shows etc. are still closed but you can still visit other places like museums, parks, observatories, and national landmarks. I would recommend confirming any activity before planning because things do change every day. When I was there, they were open.
We stayed in Hell’s Kitchen so I checked out a popular chicken finger place called Sticky’s Finger Joint. It was about $10 and was worth it! They have over ten sauces you can try and I tried the honey mustard (scrumptious). The fries were just okay.
